Introduction

The Kamaladi Ganesh, also known as the White Ganesh, is among the most popular and renowned Ganesh temples in the Kathmandu Valley. This temple, adorned with rich ornamentation, has seen many renovations over the years. It serves as a shrine where devotees gather to express their devotion to Lord Ganesh.

The temple experiences a significant influx of visitors on Tuesdays, making the day feel like a festive occasion due to the large crowds. Regular pooja ceremonies are conducted every morning, involving offerings of flowers, tika (vermilion powder), rice, lights, and other pooja items. In the evenings, the temple performs the evening aarti, which involves offering lights to Lord Ganesh.
